Big data network platform, intelligent monitoring, VR Technology, smart wear, biological detection……Eleven entrepreneur teams from Hong Kong performed on-site roadshow and three major cooperation projects were signed which will be carried out in Chengdu. Yesterday, the Rong Hong Kong Young Innovative Entrepreneurial BBS which was organized by the Technology Division, Shuangliu District’s Government and the City University of Hong Kong was held successfully. It is reported that the International incubator which is developed by the leading brand of entrepreneurial ecosystem “Taiku Technology” and the City University of Hong Kong will be settles in Rong Hong Kong, meanwhile, the first Ultra High Resolution Imaging Engineering center of Chengdu will locate in Shuangliu District.
This event invited eleven entrepreneur teams and enterprises from Hong Kong to make communication, investigations and project financing and docking. It facilitated communication between youth entrepreneurship and share of innovation resources through carve out, cooperation signing and project roadshow. Furthermore, it is said that the building of Chengdu Institute of City University of Hong Kong will be completed and put into use in the first half of next year.
“Our Ultra High Resolution Imaging Engineering Project was originated from the early developed ultra-high resolution molecular fluorescence localization microscopy techniques and equipment. This theory of technology and application won Nobel Prize in Chemistry in 2014. It solves the core technological problems of environmental fault-tolerant during the productization process and multi-channel imaging and owns completely independent intellectual property rights. The current detected spatial resolution is up to international level which is 20 nm (ten times of the resolution of conventional optical microscope). This technology can give visual information support for biological and medical research from the cellular and molecular level.”
NBI Ltd signed cooperation agreement with Chengdu Institute of City University of Hong Kong and they will work together to build the first Ultra High Resolution Imaging Engineering center in Chengdu.
“The City Institute is the second strategic development platform of City University of Hong Kong in mainland, and its main purpose is to develop the applied research and transformation of scientific research achievement. As the building of Chengdu Institute of City University of Hong Kong will soon be finished and put into use, this will promote cooperation between CUHK and the mainland especially the west part in the areas of education, scientific research and innovation.” Talked by vice-principal Jian Lv of City University of Hong Kong.
It is reported that after one-year preparation, the building of Chengdu Institute of CUHK will be finished and put into use in the following year. At that time, it will provide innovation and entrepreneur teams in Chengdu with more one-stop services through approaches like opening the university laboratory.
